Dear Friends,
I an looking for information on "the startled effect" caused by Very Fast
Trains ( and all variants - TGV, Shinkansen, Eurostar etc:) on motorists
where the roads and highways run parallel to , or in close proximity to,
existing railtracks for any continued lengths.
e.g.: Are there statistics which show an increase in accidents caused
through lack of concentration by the motorist in such situations if the
train & vehicle are travelling towards each other at nighttime?
Regards
Mark Middleton-Smith
