|Is there any reason why the RFX second level analysis could not be applied
|to an event related experiment?
There is no reason why you should not be able to apply the second level
analysis to an event related design. In this case the contrast images you
enter into the second level simply represent the mean event-related
activation (or differential activation) for each subject. The variance
considered is therefore the between subject variability in the evoked
event related responses (or differential responses), and a RFX model is
effected in the standard way.
