Hi folks - I thought the following hack of spm_getSPM might be useful to
some of you who are using spm99b for random effects analyses. What this
code does is to loop through all the contrasts defined in xCon.mat and
runs spm_getSPM on them in a batched manner (requiring no user input).
After creating all of the necessary contrasts (or copying xCon.mat from
an identical design with all contrasts defined), simply run
batch_spm_getSPM and all of the contrast files will appear. I have
found this very useful for designs with large numbers of contrasts.
The code is available at:
http://www.nmr.mgh.harvard.edu/~poldrack/spm/batch_spm_getSPM.m
Although the results of this code have always been identical to those
resulting from running results by hand in my experience, you should
probably do a sanity check on your own system to make sure - as always,
YMMV.
cheers,
russ
