All,
I was considering setting up a page of "how to" analyses from some of the
old posts on the mailing list. The pages would be like "here is the study
design, you should do this..." in format. I would like this to be a more
of a hands on page and less about the SPM theories that are already
on the web. I would also end up posting here for clarifications on the old
posts but that is for another time.
I wish to do this as a reference for myself and others at this PET
facility, but would be willing to have it available to the whole SPM
community if people here think it would be used. (if it would be used, I
would put up a page for fMRI too, but I know next to knothing about that)
On the plus side, a page like this would add a set of standards of sorts
for how to actually do some or most analyses. It would add a reference for
new users to allow them to better use SPM, and perhaps, it might cut down
on some of the mail to the mailing list (then again it may not) It could
be a reference as to how somone has done an experiment that you are not
familiar with.
So, does this sound like a good idea? Would you use it? Would anyone be
interested in posting a "how to" article for some specific or even
generic analysis? Would this be stepping on peoples toes?
Perhaps this page already exists (outside of the mailing list archives) and
I am not aware of it. If it does, please email me the address so that I
may make use of it.
