SENIOR TECHNICAL ANALYST REQUIRED FOR RACAL SURVEY GROUP LIMITED.

The Racal Survey Group of Companies is a world leader in the provision of
offshore survey services including high precision positioning systems,
hydrographic and geophysical surveying.  We have a vacancy for a Senior
Technical analyst in the GPS development team.

Job Specification: 
Development of satellite based positioning systems and provision of
technical support, primarily concerned with real time offshore, marine and
land applications.  The Technical support group is the focal point for the
continuing maintenance of Racal's global geodetic infrastructure and support
of the existing real time DGPS services, SkyFix and LandStar. The Senior
Technical analyst will be a key driver in implementing new positioning
solutions, as the Racal Survey Group leads the way in developing new
infrastructure and technologies.

Candidate Specification: 
You will need to be self-motivated and enthusiastic to develop technical
solutions to challenging problems, with a minimum of 3 years experience in
satellite based positioning system operations, including an in-depth
knowledge of GPS. You will have an M.Sc. or PhD in Electronics, Geomatics or
another cognate degree.  Ideally you will be experienced in the processing
and analysis of GPS dual frequency carrier phase data and real time
Differential GPS data sets and be able to create technical reports and
descriptions of techniques and solutions developed.  Your experience in this
field should give you the ability to be an excellent communicator with good
presentation and computer skills.
