Does anyone have experience with growing in vivo, the 9L gliosarcoma cells with
the lacZ reporter gene that are available from ATCC? I am growing them in
Fischer 344 rats intracerebrally and in nude mice and have found them to have a
longer latency and slower growth rate than reported for other 9L lines. These
observations are only in vivo. They grow rapidly, vigorously in vitro.
Appreciate any help or advice about who might be working with these cells.
