I have the same concern that Steve does.  Do you have a reference that says
CoP cannot be used dynamically.  I recently did a literature review and did
see anything that says that it cannot be used dynamically.  I believe someone
else on the mailbase used similar terminology in regard to the calculation of
center of pressure.  What, specifically, in the calculation will skew the
measurement?  Trevor, I would agree that CoP dynamically and statically will
not correlate.  During gait the CoP moves and statically it does not (well
not very much. sway)  However, dynamically, and statically CoP can be used to
calculate the instantaneous joint moment from ground reactive force about
joint axes.
