I have an orthotist with whom I am in contact who tells me that he has
developed a practical protocol. At the moment I am trying to get him to
send me a copy of that protocol. I have asked for something that a
patient can take to his local shoe repair facility and hand over with a
pair of shoes. The orthotist tells me that this is precisely what he
has produced. When it arrives I shall try it and if it works I will
write it up for the British Journal of Podiatry, and publish it as an
attachment on this mailbase.
Meanwhile, I was at a talk by Tom Novella a few weeks ago, and he was
very enthusiastic about the benefits of rocker soles for many forefoot
problems - even for apical corns. If he is on the mailbase maybe he
could let us have his protocol?
