I think the impacts of children teaching on parents behaviour also depends
on the educational system. In some countries educational system establish a
close link between the students, parents and schools, while in some other
countries this link either does not exist or is very weak.
Another important factor is the students age.
In my study in two Iranian cities where I was going to collect data about
households response to earthquake risk I distributed my questionnaire
through schools and I got very good response rate. I was sure I would not
receive the same response if I had done it in other ways. Parents
considered the questionnaire as their childern homework and filled them and
send them back.
