Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position available in the
laboratory of Sean Casey at the University of Nevada in Reno, NV.
Experiments in the group involve the examination of semiconductor surface
chemistry using techniques such as LEED, TPD, and Auger and scattering
spectroscopies. Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. in physical
chemistry or chemical physics with demonstrated research productivity and
effective written communication skills. Experience is preferred in
semiconductor surface chemistry or related areas. The appointment is for
one year, renewable for another year (subject to the availability of
funds), with a salary commensurate with qualifications. The compensation
package includes health benefits, etc. offered by the University of
