DESCRIPTION OF THE CONFERENCE
The Dynamics of Molecular Collisions Conference focuses on all aspects of
reactive and non-reactive molecular collisions as well as half collisions.
The Conference began as a Gordon Conference in 1965, and, though it now
operates independently, retains the Gordon Conference format and spirit.
MEETING SITE
The meeting will be held at The Resort at Split Rock in eastern
Pennsylvania, a five-hundred-acre year-round resort situated on Lake
Harmony and surrounded by the forests, lakes and streams of the Pocono
Mountains.
The Resort is located 1-1/2 to 2 hours from New York City airports. Bus
transportation from the closest airport, Newark International Airport, to
Split Rock on Sunday, July 18 and from Split Rock to Newark Airport on
Friday, July 23 has been arranged. Bus sign-up is done as part of meeting
registration (see below) on the Split Rock web site,
http://www.splitrockresort.com.
Split Rock has abundant recreational facilities for hiking, biking, golf,
tennis, swimming, racquetball, billiards, bowling, fishing, water skiing,
and boating. More information on Split Rock is available at the Resort web
site.
MEETING PROGRAM
The Conference will have morning sessions on Monday through Friday , and
evening sessions Monday through Thursday. Afternoons are free for
discussions and recreation. Session topics and speakers are:

POSTERS
Split Rock has extensive and attractive facilities for presentation of
posters. Poster sessions for contributed papers will be scheduled for
Monday through Thursday evenings. To present a poster a one-page abstract

Registration and payment of fees will be done on-line through the Split
Rock Resort web site, at http://www.splitrockresort.com. A direct link to
the registration form is now part of the Split Rock home page. The
registration deadline is June15.
It is anticipated that there will be some funds available for graduate
