Since 1995 a lot of work has been done at Snailbeach, including last
month the re-erecting of a head frame over Old or Georges Shaft and the
installation of the original sheave wheel by members of the Shropshire
Mines Trust, the re-roofing of several of the buildings and conservation
work on the dressing floors.
