Hi Group
I have asked this before but I will try again :)))
You will be aware of the British Mining Database which is a network of
webpages and links for mining information. Click below to see.
Mike Munro has just taken over as Co-ordinator for the South Wales area
so it is worth checking out his new pages. I am trying to "persuade"
two others to become Co-ordinators for South East England and Ireland
but we still need volunteers to be the Co-ordinators for Northern
England, Scotland and Isle of Man.
What this involves is running the front page for that area to which the
master map points (check out the URL below and go to sites). You would
put on the page links to any material connected with mines for that
area. If you are willing, you can also put stuff on yourself with
links. If you check out the Western England area run by myself, you
will see that I have put on all sorts of stuff relating to Shropshire.
Is anyone interested? The three areas mentioned are very neglected at
present and someone could do a very useful job here.
Cheers
Adrian Pearce
