At Perannaworthal, on the River Kennel, a tributary of the Fal, The
Norway Inn is so named from the trade in Norwegian pine for Cornish mine
timbers. The river is silted now, but older maps (as recent as 1963)
show that it was navigable then.
To the point - records are held somewhere (think County Records, Truro)
(maybe by some on this list), Is there any similarity with the trade
sources for which you are searching which some of these could help
with??
Regards
John
