Both Ian and Lynne's replies to my request for plain asci text messages
highlight the need for retaining a simple effective message format.
Ian, when he writes -

Luddite actions don't come into it - nothing wrong with having the latest
software etc. as long as it produces material which is accessible to all,
and we know the ascii format e-mail works for all.
