I'm intersted to know the international reputation of Kurt Jacobsohn
(1904-1991), a German-born Jewish biochemist. His career developed mainly
in Portugal, at the IRC where he played a fundamental role in the
emergence of Portuguese biochemistry. This is the subject of my Ph.D
dissertation.
Kurt Jacobsohn claims the mention of your work in the the following books:
- Hans v. Euler, Chemie der Enzyme(1934) - Carl Oppenheimer,
Die Ferment und ihre Wirkungen (1936)
- Eugen Bamann, K. Myrback, Methoden der Fermentforschung, (1942)
Can anybody help? These books are not available in Portugal.
Probably there are other references. Many thanks
Isabel Amaral
