My enquiry about the Turing statue, addresses to Sir Derek Jacobi of the
Turing Memorial fund, was passed to the sculptor, Glyn Hughes, for reply.
The following extract from his reply may be of interest.

... the image there is of a 200mm high maquette of the proposed statue, on
which I did not attempt to model the face, as at such a small scale it
would tend to end up looking rather like Action Man !
As for ways of commemorating sponsorship - this is still up for discussion,
but the general feeling is for a matching bronze plaque next to the statue.
