Lectureship / Senior Lectureship
in Political Communication
Initial Salary within the range £22, 276 - £34,464.
The School has an established reputation for achievement in both Politics and
Communication Studies, and is seeking to make a senior appointment which builds
upon these overlapping strengths.
Candidates for the post will have a strong record of research and publication.
They should have expertise in the study of communication, with a background in
one of the social science disciplines (preferably politics). Applicants with
expertise in media policy, international aspects of the media or political
marketing will be particularly welcome.
The post is tenured (subject to a successful completion of a three year
probationary period), and is available from 1 September 1999. Informal
