'Versatile Visualisation'
Virtual models for building design and functionality

26 April 1999
VR Centre for the Built Environment, UCL

Dear member of the London VR Special Interest Group,

First, my apologies if you have already received an invitation via another
mailing list.

We are inviting people from the following areas to participate in this free
event:

- Architects and decision-makers in building design and consultancy;
- Clients looking for the benefits that the latest technology can offer;
- Technology and software developers.

The latest details are on our website at
http://www.pac.soton.ac.uk/construct/workshop/workshop2.shtml

We will be:
- Using the VR facilities to give a fascinating insight into emerging
applications in visualisation technology and software;
- Discussing requirements from the client's perspective;
- Discussing how building designers can communicate their requirements to
developers of the technology;
- Showing the routes to take-up of the technology.

The agenda includes open discussion sessions in which we expect a lively
exchange of views. Please come along and contribute.

Attached are the following

1) Letter of invitation
2) Draft programme
3) Registration form

Please refer to the website for details if these attachments do not survive.

Kind regards,

Margaret
