2nd Brazilian Workshop on Virtual Reality – WRV’99
Fundação Eurípides de Marília – Marília – SP – Brazil
November 18 – 20, 1999
http://www.realidadevirtual.com.br/wrv99

1 – About Marília – SP

Marília is a medium city with around 200,000 inhabitants, located
at 450 km (300 miles) far from São Paulo city. November is
summer in Brazil, and the temperature can variate
from 25 to 35 °C (80 to 95 °F), with possibility of rainy days.

2 – Flights

"TAM" is the only air company that operates in the São Paulo - Marília
route. You can reach TAM by the following phone/FAX:

Miami: 305 477 5997
Tool free: (888) 235 9826 2FLYTAM
London: (0171) 707 4605
Paris: (01) 4225 1717
São Paulo: +55 11 257 0844
                 +55 11 582-8631
Tool free: (0800) 123 100 (Brazil)

In São Paulo city there are two main airports: International Airport of
Guarulhos, and National Airport of Congonhas. People coming
from abroad, arrive in Guarulhos, and need to take an
inter-airport transportation (a bus) to go to Congonhas Airport,
to take a flight Marília. The bus departs from Guarulhos Airport
each 45 minutes, and the ride takes around 45 minutes,
depending on the traffic.
For information on the bus, in Guarulhos Airport, ask for the Airport
Service Bus Transportation. The price is about 10 dollars.
The Brazilian money is "Real". To change money at the Airport, look for
the Bank of Brazil or Banespa.
