Felicity,
I did a quick search on Liszt (http://www.liszt.com/) for discussion
lists covering Excel and the most promising seems to be EXCEL-G. The
description goes as follows:
"The Excel Question and Answer List is provided to serve
as a give-and-take forum for general or casual users of Microsoft
Excel. It is especially provided for new or inexperienced users of
the product.
You can mail a request for an "info" file to the server address,
[log in to unmask] Put this single line in the mail
message:
info EXCEL-G
You can get a general "help" file from that server by mailing this
single line
help
to the same server address, [log in to unmask] This
should also give you instructions on how to join (or leave) the
group."
There are also several Usenet groups covering Excel. They all begin
microsoft.public.excel. Probably the easiest way to look at these
initially is to browse or search them using DejaNews
(http://www.dejanews.com/)
Regards
Karen
