A full-day `hands on' course.
Business Information on the Internet shows participants how to cut
through the maze of Internet sources, and gives them pointers to the
essential retrieval and browsing tools. The course consists of talks
interspersed with guided practical hands-on sessions. The course is
suitable for anyone with a basic knowledge of the Internet
applications.
Places on each course are strictly limited to allow maximum personal
attention for each delegate. The course leader is Sheila Webber,
Lecturer in the Department of Information Science, University of
Strathclyde.
Venue: The British Library, St Pancras, central London.

A half-day `hands on' course.
This course is for everyone who needs to save time and target their
research. The course shows why not all search engines are the same.
The course is led by Danny Sullivan, the Editor of Search Engine
Watch. He is a writer with long experience of using the Net, and
practical knowledge of its strengths and weaknesses gained working as
a consultant on both sides of the Atlantic.
