Well, Dialog have done it/are doing it again! (Messing things up!)
The Enterprise Zone (http://www.enterprisezone.org.uk/) always did
present users with a few problems of accessibility, but now it is
totally impossible! Dialog took over the running of the site at the
start of the year and unless you have frames, Java and Javascript
enabled and allow cookies you cannot do anything sensible with this
site. In fact, even with all the bells and whistles switched on, it
is a battle to get past the very confusing menus.
Those of us who are "accredited sites" have received an e-mailed
questionnaire, and it appears that Dialog are contemplating charging
sites to be listed on the Enterprise Zone. (?750 is quoted but
whether the ? is supposed to be dollars or GBP is not obvious). So it
looks as though it might be a case of as long as you cough up the
money, don't worry about the quality!
Its a great shame, because the idea behind the Enterprise Zone was,
and still is, a good one.
