It gets worse, the disc contains address errors which are blamed on Royal Mail
e.g. town name becoming street name, which makes searching somewhat unreliable.
Mind you, against this trend I did find my own address entry was correct on
Phone Disc, and wrong on Phone Net!
All rather mysterious.

Following on:
is anyone happy with the new BT Phonedisc, which, now requires a
location before searching? I've been told it is due to data protection,
but Thomweb, among others, still seem to allow name only searches, so
what goes on?
For those of us with web access, the USP of the Phonedisc was the
ability to search without specifying location. With that gone, why buy
the disc?
