Tracking Government Publications
a one day training workshop
Friday 22nd October 1999
Being able to find and use official information is a vital skill for
anyone working in business or commerce - to stay in business, and to
be competitive, means keeping within the law, and being aware of what
new legislation is in progress.
This one day course is designed to introduce business people to the
complex and rapidly changing world of UK and European official
information. The course is aimed primarily at beginners, although more
experienced searchers will find it a valuable way to update their
knowledge. The speakers include both experienced information officers
from the British Library Social Policy Information Service (SPIS) and
outside experts.
Venue: The British Library, central London.
Start time: 9.30 am.
Fee: £175 plus VAT.
