"The Assyrian Experience: Sources for the Study of the 19th and 20th
Centuries" uses Harvard's extensive holdings on and by Assyrians to
document Assyrian culture in the Middle East (especially Iran, Iraq, Syria,
and Turkey); the massacre of the Assyrians during World War I; and their
subsequent struggle to survive both in their homeland and in the diaspora.
