     This `hands on' course is for anyone who needs to get the best possible 
     information out of the Internet - anyone who needs to save time and target 
     their research.
     As the Internet grows in size, people are becoming overwhelmed by the 
     results of their searches. How do you add precision without running the    
     risk of losing a useful lead? All searches are different. This course shows
     you how to choose the most appropriate place to start - a directory, a     
     search engine, or both combined. The course also gives you inside          
     information on narrowing down your request. For instance, do you keep      
     getting an unwanted site dominating your results?  The trainer is Danny    
     Sullivan, a writer with practical knowledge of the Internet gained working 
     as a consultant on both sides of the Atlantic. He is editor of Search      
     Engine Watch (`the classic archive' -  Internet Magazine).
