Apologies for multiple postings:
I have been asked by our public health department to find out if any studies
have been carried out into the problems associated with the use of water
meters and a possible reduction in the use of water which could have a
detrimental effect on health. In other words, the high cost of using water
would preclude them using as much water as was necessary to maintain good
health.
The example I was given, was for people who suffer with incontinence who
might need to use more water for washing purposes, and if they have a water
meter, might be reluctant to use as much as they would require due to the
high cost of water. But any studies related to the water meters limited
peoples usage which would then effect their health would be helpful.
Any information, guidance, etc would be appreciated.
Thank you
