Electronic Information Skills Librarian (Training & Outreach)
£20,865 plus £2,270 London Weighting
Working in collaboration with local Librarians, the Electronic Information
Skills Librarian will plan, co-ordinate and deliver information skills
training within the CELEC area. We are looking for a flexible team player
with a professional qualification in librarianship, information science or
information management or equivalent. Five years post qualification
experience, some in a health setting is desirable. Previous experience of
searching the major health databases is essential. The post will be supported
by one full-time Assistant Electronic Information Skills Librarian ( Training
and Outreach).

(Central and East London Education Consortium (CELEC) is an NHS body
responsible for workforce planning and commissioning of education and
training on behalf of NHS Trusts and Health Authorities in the central and
east London area. CELEC is funding this one year post to support the
development of searching skills for healthcare staff, using a variety of
platforms and interfaces.
The employing authority will be UCL Hospitals NHS Trust. The post will be
based at East London & The City Health Authority, 81-91 Commercial Rd, London
E1, but will deliver training across a number of sites. NHS Conditions of
