Library Assistant
A vacancy has arisen for an enthusiastic and hardworking library assistant
within a very busy academic biomedical library, serving staff, students
and research personnel.
Duties will include reader services and issue desk work, using electronic
library systems. Applicants should be educated to at least first degree
level, have excellent communication skills and be capable of working
cheerfully under pressure as part of a small dynmanic team. The
successful applicant will work one late evening per week (until 7pm) for
which time off in lieu will be given. The post is for one year in the
first instance. Starting salary will be approximately 13,500 pounds per
annum (inclusive of London Allowance), according to qualifications and
experience.
