Dear All,
We have compiled a detailed database of neurological support groups and
charities, which currently contains over 150 references.
We have put it on the Internet at
http://www.ion.ucl.ac.uk/library/patient-support.html
and as a bit of a stopgap, have used the same software we use for our staff
publications database (Reference Web Poster). The staff publications
database is at
http://www.ion.ucl.ac.uk/library/references.html
This software is very good for its intended purpose (i.e. references!) but
some of the field labels in the advanced search are a bit confusing for
anyone searching for support groups and charities.
We have written a guide on how to search at
http://www.ion.ucl.ac.uk/library/psup.htm
but this is not an ideal solution.
Can anyone suggest anything more appropriate
we could use, which is fairly straight forward and cheap? (is there such a
thing?). Alternatively, has anyone had any success in tailoring the Web
Poster software to their own needs in such a way?
Many thanks for your help.
Louise
