Forwarded from SHARP-L and Exlibris. Peter Hoare

Dear Sharp members,
In my work on Governor Grey I have come across his dealings with the
bookselling firm of Booth, Churton, Saunder, Otley United Libraries,
operating from 307 Regent St, London. This was in 1863, 64 and 1865.
Can any member offer leads on further information on this firm, their
workings, demise, and chief signatory Lionel Booth. And did they always
stick their labels on the front cover of sold books? Grey didnt seem to
mind this infringement but I imagine other collectors would.
Sincerely,
Donald Kerr
