In my recent trawl of the professional library journals during the
1910s and 1920s, I have come across a regular column in the _Library World_
called "Letters on our Affairs". These, often slightly strange articles in
the form of letters, were signed by individuals using Greek pseudonyms,
such as Zenodotus, Callimachus, Erastothenes (I think - excuse my spelling!).
Does anyone know either who these individuals were, or whether anyone has
actually published somewhere suggesting who they were. A colleague of mine
here in Aberystwyth thought the latter had been done.
Many thanks,
