At Kingston we keep syllabuses only - we pay for these. We kept Exam
papers for a while but have now given up as we found the experience
of trying to order them a nightmare because we weren't an exam centre
and they weren't prepared to put them on standing order or send
them to us with an invoice. I have found that surprisingly we haven't
been asked for them since though.

Dear all,
We have a collection of GCE, GCSE and GNVQ exam papers, syllabuses
and reports from a range of exam boards - for which we pay. I wonder
if you all pay for this material, or has anyone managed to come to an
arrangement with any of the different boards? I also wonder if the
issue of School of Education libraries having to pay for this
material has ever been raised with UCET? Given that students need
to see this kind of material and it seems to be an expectation on the
part of OFSTED that the students will have access to it, it seems
that there should be some kind of mechanism whereby we could at least
get a discount. Anyway, I should be grateful if any of you have any
thoughts on this, or can fill me in on any previous discussions on
this.
Best wishes
Jane
