Dear Peter and Others in the South-West,
Re the "dearth of courses for those who have finished
their training", in case you have missed what's been going
on in this region...
The West Country Division and the Devon and Cornwall
Division of the Career Development Group have been running
courses regularly over many years with the emphasis on
advice on Chartership submissions, including "how to write
a PDR". They aren't often advertised nationally, but as
long as your CDG Registration Liaison Officer is aware of
your existence, you should be on the mailing list to
receive notification about such courses. (All the more
reason for route B candidates to make contact with their
RLO!)
The West Country Division RLO is Nicky Pitman who is based
in Trowbridge Library (tel. 01225 713732) and who any
minute now will be sending out notification of the next
course, which will be held in Taunton on December 2nd.
Hope to see lots of you there...
Jill Kempshall
Supervisors Liaison Officer, South West.
