Just to add to the bundle of issues Lesha has raised:
I work in the data conversion area of an electronic
publishing company and would be interested in hearing
the views of all those currently in the PDR process in
'non-traditional' environments. (By the way, on the
gender question, we have had no professionally
qualified men on the team so far - mainly because none
have applied! - so if they're coming through the
library system they aren't coming to us!)
- How relevant/applicable do you find the information
you've had so far about Chartering?
- What sort of response have you had from your
organisation to your intentions to go through the
process?
- What do you feel the image/reputation of librarians
is within your organisation?
- What sort of professional development activities have
you been able to undertake?
Thanks!
