It is interesting to note <I believe > that there is only ONE place
apart from Canada in what was once known as
the "British Empire"
<ie the bits of the map painted red when I was a lad>
where they drive on the right
It remains one of our British few remaining colonies
and it is the Crown Colony of Gibraltar
Is this a concession to Spain ??
or just practical
Speaking of Gibraltar - what about the Neutral Zone
between Gibraltar and La Linea de la Concepcion ?
Anyone know the legal position ??
By the way it always amuses me driving out of Dover
with the signs in many languages after say 10 miles/16 kms
saying " Links fahren/Tenez a la gauche/Drive on the left"
If you had not - you would be dead ???
I also understand that there are parts of Japan
maybe particular islands that also drive on the left
