WITH APOLOGIES FOR CROSS-POSTING
It is proposed to organise several sessions relating to Historical
GIS at the Annual Conference of the Association of American
Geographers in Pittsburgh from 4th-8th April 2000.
The initial proposal is for four sessions, entitled as follows :
Historical GIS I : The City
Historical GIS II : New Approaches to the Analysis of Change
Historical GIS III : Poster Session
Visualising History : Paper and Electronic Atlases
These broad headings will clearly be subject to modification in the
light of the titles finally received. The poster session is integral
to the programme and may also suit presentations with a large or
intricate cartographical component.
