John,
I seem to have caused a number of people confusion. Don't worry your
name was not one of those that I removed. What happens is that as
people move on to pastures new or change their e-mail address, their
"old" e-mail address becomes defunct. This generates an error
message which only I see. When the numbers are only a few this
causes me no problems, but when they get large (>20), everytime
someone sends a message to the list I get 20+ e-mails telling me that
the addresses are no longer valid. This is when I clear out the
"dead" addresses. When I do this there is a risk that I may
unsubscribe someone who is still subscribed. The only way to prevent
this is to alert people about what I'm doing and tell them to get in
contact if they're worried about their continued subscription.
I'm 99.99999% certain that you have not been removed from the list.
If you want to check it out you can send the following e-mail to
[log in to unmask]
with the message
review geo-mineralisation
If you're still subscribed, you should get a list of
geo-mineralisation members and their e-mail addresses. If you get
error messages then get back to me and I'll sort out the problem
Cheers
Jon
