Telford Institute of Environmental Systems
NERC PhD Research studentship
Applications are invited for a Natural Environment Research Council
(NERC) PhD research studentship in the University's Telford Institute
of Environmental Systems (TIES). TIES is an interdisciplinary group
with over fifty researchers based in the School of Environment and
Life Sciences and with a focus on environmental science and
environmental engineering research. The project will be based in one
of the following research groups:
Climate change and glaciology
Environmental remote sensing
Hydrology and hydrometeorology
Geomorphology and environmental change

have a good first degree or an MSc in a relevant subject and will be
expected to indicate their intended area of research at the time of
application. The studentship includes fees, fieldwork and conference
expenses and a maintenance award (currently £6445 pa).
