This is a three year post to work with Professor David Gibbs and Dr. Andy Jonas on an

development and environmental policy in local areas and assisting with interviews with policy
makers and other relevant individuals and organisations.
You should have a good first degree in a related area and a Ph.D. in a social science discipline
would be preferred. It would be an advantage to have a familiarity with the social science
literature on governance and local economic development and/or a knowledge of environmental
