Two points :
Firstly, many thanks to the two respondents to my previous call for help on references on Sediment Washout. They were both very helpful and have managed to provide much needed additional information. Following on from the flurry of e mails in the recent past regarding the usefulness of the mailbase and the amount of use that it gets I can maintain that the system does work and in my case has been very useful, especially in keeping industry in some form of contact with academia.
Secondly, I wish to ask for any further help on evaporite dissolution. Especially in free faces underground. Does anybody have references on the rate of anhydrite dissolution when inundated with water or chemical changes that take place to the anhydrite when exposed to a humid atmosphere underground.
In advance, many thanks for any help given.
