International Symposium on Physical Modelling and Testing in
Environmental Geotechnics
---------------------------------------------
This symposium is being held in La Baule, France on 15-17 May, 2000.
It is being organised by the European Commission funded Network of
Geotechnical Centrifuges for Environmental Geotechnic Research
(NECER), established to investigate the potential of centrifuge
modelling in studying and analysing environmental engineering
problems.
As part of the planned dissemination and integration of the work with
other research involving physical modelling, the International
Symposium is being held where the emphasis is placed on scientific
experiments, the observation of phenomena and new data.
