Dear all
I am studying the stability of the DMM self supported walls, supporting
excavations in soft clay soils. I am looking for any information about the shear
strength of the soft clay around the deep mixing columns. I remeber that I have
read a paper, which included some field measurements, and mentioned that the
strength is not reduced due to the diturbance , accompanying the columns
installation. I don't remember the paper's title, so I cann't retrieve this
information. If anyone has information regarding this pont, or even knows about
any paper that has covered it, I'd be thankful if he tell me about it . I think
a similar information for bored piles or lime columns , might be useful.
Thank you
Yours
Ala'a
