Respond to this email message if you wish to receive the monthly
WYFIWYG newsletter. Here is a sample issue.

                        WYFIWYG NEWSLETTER
What You Feel Is What You Get

This free monthly email newsletter highlights products
and
services presently available and discusses
breakthroughs in
technology of interest to the blind. It is sent by email to
those who sign up for the newsletter at our web site or
who
request it by email or phone, and it is kept brief so the
reader
is quickly informed.

Columns in the newsletter vary from month to month to
keep the
newsletter fresh and lively. Here are a few columns you
can
expect to read often.

Customer Corner tells you what commercial products
are hot and
what are not and tells you what are good buys and what
to avoid.

Editorial Corner presents hot topics and controversial
issues
like: Should you upgrade to Microsoft Office 2000? Are
DOS
users doomed when Windows 2000 debuts?

Web Showcase presents web sites of interest to the
blind and
discusses their navigation and more.

Technical Tidbits features ways to make Windows
applications work
better with screen readers and introduces accessible
programs.

WYFIWYG Announcements debuts products and
services of interest to
the blind.

Book Reviews highlights a tutorial, user manual, or
program
documentation and mentions its pros and cons.

Comments to WYFIWYG shares comments from visitors
to the WYFIWYG
web site.

Monthly Specials announces special offers to newsletter
subscribers and products on sale at the WYFIWYG web
site.

Please tell friends and colleagues about the WYFIWYG
newsletter
and the WYFIWYG web site. The newsletter is free and
so is the
online catalog. Pleas forward this newsletter, or any
portion of
this newsletter, to a discussion list or newsgroup whose
members
may enjoy the material.

                         WYFIWYG WEB SITE

This web site serves blind and visually-impaired web
surfers in
various ways. It offers a product catalog that visitors can
download in different formats: WordPerfect 5.1, text,
translated
braille for narrow and wide pages, and PDF. Visitors
can also
browse the catalog while online. Moreover, the catalog,
upon
request by email or phone, is available in hard copy
format:
print, large print, Grade 2 braille, and 2-track audio
cassette.

The WYFIWYG web site offers online shopping. Many
items are
intended for the blind computer user. Products which
make
computers accessible, tutorials which make Microsoft
Windows and
other programs easy to learn and resource lists which
make the
computer indispensable are all available here.

Also, items are showcased which enhance the quality of
daily
life. Check out the Heart Rate Monitor that talks. With it,
you
can exercise at the proper level and enjoy life more fully.
Check out the Bar Code Reader that talks. With it, you
will
never open the wrong can of soup for lunch or play the
wrong
music CD at a party.

Many items are unavailable elsewhere. So, tell friends
about
products that you think might interest them.

Millions of customers shop daily on the Internet.
Customers
visit and browse web sites and web malls for products
and
services. Often, bargains are found because Internet
merchants
have much less overhead than traditional retail stores
and malls.

Virtually all web sites which serve the sighted community
use
"shopping carts" that let customers place credit card
orders
online. This is a great convenience and completely safe
when
merchants employ a "secure" web site or web mall.

Virtually no web site which caters to the blind community
presently offers a shopping cart customized for the blind
shopper
and online credit card processing. We are proud to
provide an
accessible shopping cart and to offer customers
convenient online
credit card processing. American Express, Discover,
Master Card,
and Visa are all accepted online as well as offline.

We rely on the EasyCart shopping cart which works
superbly well
with screen readers. The manufacturer of EasyCart lets
us sell
EasyCart to other web site owners in the disability
community.
Also, the manufacturer is willing to consider reasonable
alterations to EasyCart -- like larger fonts and different
color
schemes to improve accessibility. Tell webmasters of
other
disability sites about EasyCart so they can also offer you
this
shopping convenience.
