Dear Colleagues (particularly the more technically minded than me
ones...)
I have a colleague who is negotiating a return to work following
diagnosis of RSI. In addition to keyboard use, handwriting is also a
problem.
Her work involves a lot of spreadsheet and database use, and I was
wondering about what voice-controlled software might be worth
investigating - something that would work with Excel 7(NT) ideally...
does anybody have any suggestions/ideas? Also I'm assuming the
purchase is something PACT would fund, as she would not be able to
return to her present job without it... or would this be the
employer's responsibility under the DDA? She might need other
things, like a dictaphone for meetings/memos etc, as well.
Thanks in hope,
