Hood and Nestor Courakis (1999), Occasional Paper No. 19, (£10.00, pages

The essays published in this Occasional Paper were first presented at a
seminar series jointly hosted by the Oxford Centre for Criminological
Research and the University of Athens Faculty of Law at All Souls College in
the summer of 1997. They were given by some of the most distinguished
criminologists working in Europe today and covered a number of important
