But only if you're dabbling. I have collected numerous comments about
problems in NR at http://math.jpl.nasa.gov/nr. Some of the comments
are undoubtedly obsolete. There's also a link from my nr page to one
that the authors keep, supposedly debunking these observations. I note,
however, that I had a series of four correspondences with one of the
authors of NR concerning "medfit," for which the fundamental problem is
described at the above cited web. He never understood the problem. To
my knowledge, it has not been corrected.
