Since no one else has responded to this I will. There is no standard way
available in Fortran to do this however it so happens I have just written a
module for handling dates in Fortran (not time), you might like to take this
and extend it to include time if you like. As I said it has only just been
written and so can quite possibly be improved and even corrected if you find
any bugs. There may well be other software freely available to do this but I
am not aware of any. I have used NAG's f95 compiler (under Unix) and Salford's
FTN95 compiler (under Windows 95) to develop the program.
