As Bill Link pointed out, I mistyped the distribution for alpha in an earlier posting.
it should have been dbeta(,).
However, correcting that and tryin got compile again, the problem remains as follows:
In trying to compile the model below using
Model -> Specifications -> Check Model,
I receive the error message "empty slot not allowed in variable name"
with a phantom cursor that winds up right after y[i,j] in the arrowed line.
When I comment out that line, the program compiles. But this is not adequate
because I need to model the response y[,] somehow.
Could anyone please give me an indication as to what might be wrong?
